Are lipomas possibly alcohol related

This is purely speculative, but I would be curious to know how much the average lipoma sufferer drinks.  I know that when I drink more heavily over a certain period that more seem to form - I am 29 with over 100 now :(.

Anyway, I have frequently noticed people mentioning alcohol with regard to their posts but it has never been the main subject as such.

Does anyone know of any possible connection?

Thanks.

I don't see a connection. My

I don't see a connection. My first lipomas appeared in high-school when I wasn't drinking much; it was easier to get weed back then.

Alcohol

Although Lipomas have been proven to be hereditary and genetic Its a good question because I think high toxicity levels play a large part in the forming of new ones.

I have around 30 lipoma's ranging from very small to marble size.

I drink on an average of about 1-3 drinks per week.

re: are lipomas possibly alcohol related?

Not for me.  I drink less than one drink a month, and I still have way more than I want to count.

Hi all,I'm in my mid 40's.

Hi all,

I'm in my mid 40's. I've had these since highschool.

I don't drink at all, never did. I'm getting more all over.

So, for me, there is no connection.

I am praying for a simple cure.

God bless everyone.

Alcohol

Its a great question, although lipomas have been proved to be caused by hereditary traits.  Its very similar to hair loss...although I think a great point was made in regard to toxicity levels.  the more toxic your body is the harder it becomes for your liver to flush free radicals and heavy metals out of the system.  Thus creating more or larger fatty deposits in different areas of the body.
