lipomas and gym

Dear all,

Don't you think that lipomas are somehow connected with physical exercise? as soon as I have started to work out, my lipomas started to multiply. Right now after physical effort - almost always - I feel a strange burning/itching which is indicative of lipomas to appear.

 best,

rad

PS - I have started to drink beta glucan (made from oats) - my lipomas, I guess, are a little softer, however the new ones do appear (especially on my biceps)

I wouldn't say so - I've been

I wouldn't say so - I've been pretty sedentary for the last 10 years and I've seen my lumps multiply. It seems that as I get older, nearing 43 now, I get more and more.

maybe ...

However, it seems to me that lactic acid might have sth to do with multiplication of lipomas...

Boooy, I am afraid that there is no other way to stop them form appearing than surgery, liposuction, etc:(((

Don't think that is the case

I don't think excercise causes Lipomas. Maybe cause your losing weight they are showing up. I've been riding my push bike for around a year now for 6 hours a week. I haven't noticed any new Lipoma's pop up and the existing ones don't seem to be getting bigger.

LIpoma Gym

I have worked out since I was 14 years old.  First lipoma developed at 17.

Working out has kept the pain away for years.  Now that I'm older with kids and less time to work out the lipomas hurt more.

When I first stopped working out, no problems.  When I started back up in the gym they started to hurt at first.   When I kept up the working out, the pain went away.  Working out regularly is crucial.

My thought is that stretching the tissue during working out is actually breaking the rim of the lipoma from the nearby connecting tissue.  This should keep them more loose if you chose to get them removed later.

Working out is definately a good thing.  You have to work up a sweat, and do some resistance training as well.

Exersize will help everything and has many health benefits.

I suggest taking omega 3/6/9 oils.  Taking the oils will help pain go away within a month.  Avoid sugars, and take probiotics.
